The Secret Service needs to watch Obama like a hawk...
This shit has exploded.

Right-wing terrorism resurfaced.

1. They need to watch the public around Obama like a hawk,
but I'm sure they already are.

3. I fear for Obama's safety like no other
I have since the day he was elected, the hate people have in this country is dangerous.

For living in such a melting pot it is hard to believe how much hate we have to put up with as a nation.

I good buddy of mine that I grew up with, his little brother is an SS agent.

If you ever met this guy, you would completely understand the concept of "very serious about my job".

I had asked my buddy once, regarding his little brother, "would he take a bullet for the prez?"

He told me that he asked his brother about that, he said he brother replied simply, "that's my job". No smiling, no laughing, just a steely gaze that would melt most people.

The are looking out for Obama.

5. I think when the '12 campaign goes into full swing POTUS needs to
approach his "public" appearances much differently than his first run. The openness of '08 is now much too dangerous...

6. You can rest assured that they are...
Obama was here in DC at an elementary school down the street from my house to sign the school nutrition bill into law (that's not the name of it, but anyway). I went down to see if I could get a glimpse. Security was crazy! There were 3 snipers in black on the school grounds. The SS told one woman who had opened the window of her apartment, to close it. It felt a little like that scene in The Hurt Locker. Everyone was being watched very very closely. Even with all this, Obama waved at us as he went by. I will feel very bad for this country if all of our elected officials need this level of security. I do want to protect my favorite president of all time, but it scares me how easily we have militarized so much of our political system.
