Just now on NBC - 3% cut in defense is the sticking point for repubs
Couldn't we compromise on this one point and offer a 25% increase in defense spending? Maybe with another war, too?

Pay attention people.

The Committee WILL propose revenue increases. They will dare the GOP House and Senate to reject those increases in the face of cuts to defense, as I've been saying all afternoon.

The House GOP knows this full well, which is why they're screaming like hell over the defense cuts they've have as their option if they reject the revenue recommendations of the Committee.
