The rest of us are PAYING the tab for the TPers pledges to Norquist.

They are getting political fame, and no doubt, lots of financial gain for it. We are the ones literally paying the cost of their their so-called "ideals". They get the windfall, we get the bill, as usual. Just like with the bailed out banks.

That's what we should be drilling home to people. Everybody else is paying more because of their "holy" ideals which they refuse to bend at all.

It doesn't look so good from that angle. Their allegiance isn't to the USA, it's to Norquist first and foremost. This episode is the visible proof of that.

1. the announcement of my dreams goes....
"....I have, in order to avert a constitutional crisis-signed an executive order. Mr. McConnell, Mr. Boehner, Eric Holder will be contacting you concerning a little matter of pledges to Grover Norquist-and the impact his pledge has had in your oath of office to uphold and defend the constitution. I suggest you take his call...."

7. The Norquist tax pledge is a "mental reservation" to oath of office!

3. I felt like throwing something at the TV hearing Norquirst
SCREAMING about EVERYBODY'S 401K. I don't have a damned 401K. I have my Grandma's "stash" and SOCIAL SECURITY.

Privatizing pensions in the 80s started everyone identifying with the "investor class" on Wall Street. Ever since then, people have thought only of their 401(k)s, and let them get away with whatever they wanted.
