Video: Ohio seniors weigh in on possible Social Security cuts

I've not heard anything more idiotic and craven than Democrats offering up Social Security and Medicare cuts. Watch how this idea is going over.

Also, the commercials are writing themselves. I saw one today with three senior (actors) saying "Obama, what was he thinking?!"

1. Nearly everyone I have spoken to, including Republican
family members and friends are furious over this. If Obama thinks that Republicans might vote for him when he loses progressives, which he most certainly will because no democrat can reward the first Democratic President who bargained away the New Deal programs, he is sadly mistaken. They love their SS and Medicare just as much as Democrats do.

But then, I don't think this 'fight' is about voters at all. This is a battle between the two parties to see who can deliver the most to the Wealthy Rulers of the country.

Each time I hear the President say that he will 'anger some in my own party', I feel like he's boasting about it.

2. maybe boasting is right word but I get the feel he is proud
of taking on the Progressives of his own party. boasting and proud-maybe a bit of both. I wish the progressive wing of the Dem party got as much press as the tea party wing of the Repug does. They need to make noise and see if the msm picks up on it. the teaparty needs some competition.
