I hate how the media latches on and tries to sensationalize these details, rather than try to actually examine and investigate more relevant details about the individual. What was his upbringing like? Did he have a history of mental illness or violence? What circles did he associate with and what sort of positions/rhetoric/violence do they advocate?

Oh wait...he likes video games and Dexter... yeah... that must be it...

RW media outlets are going to distance themselves from this incident, if they cover it at all. It will be interesting, though to see how self-described right-wing Christian fundamentalists contort themselves when discussing this incident.

5. Odd, since Dexter says he could never harm children

Yes, I watch Dexter (and have read the books, which are much more violent), enjoy some violent movies and have been known to play ultra-violent video games. But, like most people, I can tell the difference between fantasy and reality. But that's too much analysis for the MSM.
