minnesotans
was it really 123 degrees in your state today?? we are used to hot summers in sacramento, sometimes gets to 112 or so, but 123 is desert heat.....i really feel for you! stay safe!

1. No, it was only about 90 today. But a few days ago it was horrible.
On Wednesday, Moorehead, MN had the highest dew point in the whole world: 88 degrees. Considering the actual temperature of close to 100, that would have produced a heat index of about 123.

3. I believe that was the heat index. The actual temp was 27 degrees.

5. A few days ago the heat index was 115 degrees where I am in MN.
But today we were in the 80's.

7. A few days ago in Moorhead, the dew point was so high that...
the city was the most humid place on Earth. Even more so than any of the world's rain forests.
