I have been watching S.D. County Politics on this for a few years now...
In fact all the Cities and Counties in California have done nothing to follow the spirit of the State law..
These Laws where for real Patients needs... Not Politics..
Now S.D. Officials bless their own new Dispensary and claim its legal..
With so many Dispensaries following every rule possible to comply..They are not legal because Local officials say so??????
Also consider the recent threats to Californian and its top Officials by the DEA... Will this one go down in flames or be left alone???
Now lets explore that statement that this is a closed collective and makes no profit...
Close means no more members can be excepted.. So any Patients who are not a member get nothing and no access..
Now who and how is the rent paid for this new location?? Who pays the power and water??? Who pays for that Medication grown under lamps, the care and nutrients, the Power Bill, and its location???
So many underlying costs no mentioned...
If no money is exchanged and no profits are made... How is this possible????
State law does allow profit to pay for these things and even employees...

Reality is this has been a power play over and over again with S.D. and other areas in California... San Bernardino is another one..
This was not set up in the spirit of state law at all.. It comes from many Court Battles...
