2. I don't like the cartoon. Why can't the woman be a regular American woman?
The thing on her head makes me sick, really. I don't find it funny with the thing on her head. Not even to make any sort of point.

I'm vehemently opposed to what Muslims do to women. Herman Cain is not Muslim. He's just a misogynist f***head.

3. I think the point is
that he recently revealed his bigotry toward the Muslim religion as a whole, saying that the First Amendment does to apply to Islam, and basically indicationg that he doesn't think it should be allowed to be practiced in the US.

So the toon is less about the woman, and more about the religion. I agree wholeheartedly about disagreement with what Muslims do to women, but that isn't the point of the toon.

4. Until Islam starts treating women as equals, I have a tremendous disdain for it.
It's a savage religion with regard to women. As a feminist, I'd have to be F nuts to consider it anything but savage.

5. I totally agree,

but it is still covered under the First Amendment, whether we like it or not. The point of the toon is the statement by the candidate that it is not covered by the Amendment.

Edit to correct - Change Congressman to candidate. Cain isn't a Congressman - Thank God!

6. Fine, but I abhor anything that feels like a threat to me as a woman.
I abhor Islam. Until such time as it stops treating women like shit, I find it utterly abhorrent.

7. So women don't have the right to wear religious clothing that you don't like.
It's religious freedom. I'm Jewish. I am not religious, but I would never consider telling a religious Jewish woman not to shave her head and wear a wig. It's her choice.
This cartoon is about religious freedom. I like it!

8. That's a bs way to promote Islam's violence against women and I will not discuss it with someone
who thinks that way. Answer yourself, as I will not be discussing this with someone who promotes Islam's violence against women.

10. What?
Shave her head and wear a wig? Please enlighten me, I know little about Judaism, but that just sounds funny.

9. I think the point
may be that Herman Cain is no better than the Muslims that he criticizes so adamantly... the cartoon seems to be addressing many of the man's shortcomings
