3. Rational people survey their situation and prepare for the future
Do you think everything is rosy and all we have to do is lay down and shut up, just stand there with mouth agape and watch everything get better because of our lack of concern?

5. No, but the level of pure conjecture and
frothing and foaming over endless possible scenarios is obscuring the view. Bottom line is that none of us know what is going on now. Not a single one of us.

handed a steaming pile. The scenarios are there and we can and should cause a stink over the ones that we hate.

26. But you're concerned, is that correct?
I will suggest that Bernie Sanders is not an individual who froths at the mouth. Since your OP was so vague,
I'm not sure who or what you're referring to here.

Sign the form below to join Bernie Sanders and Daily Kos in saying no to any cuts to Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid.

Dear Friend,

In the midst of the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression, it is imperative that we vigorously defend the American social safety net that is making life bearable for tens of millions of vulnerable Americans.

We must make it absolutely clear to President Obama and the Democratic and Republican Leadership in Congress that there must not be cuts to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. At a time when the richest people in our country are becoming richer while the middle class is disappearing and poverty is increasing, we must not balance the budget on the backs of the elderly, the sick and the children.

30. Yes, I'm concerned and I have
voiced my concerns through various channels, including this one.

I do realize that everyone making public statements, including Bernie Sanders, is likely presenting a negotiating point. Meanwhile, back at the DU ranch, we are clairvoyant and know the text of the final bill already.

29. There are not endless possible scenarios.
So far, every possible scenario presented has been dismal and disappointed. We have been given no indication that anything good is coming down the pike. Negotiations are starting from the wrong point and going in the wrong direction.

4. well when the gang of six lays a rotten egg on the public table
we expect a Democratic President to overturn that table and drive the money-changers out of the public temple. What we don't expect is for him to tell the public. "MMMM, look at that, eggs benedict (called as such because it is a proposal of traitors), get ready for a delicious meal."

Note to the gang of six, just because you have laid a rotten egg, does not mean you have made an omelette.

one egg every damn day, its pretty easy to estimate how many eggs you'll end up with by the end of a given week. Some chicken farmer you'd make.

How many eggs to hatch, how many chickens to keep as layers and how many to kill and eat. Almost makes you wonder if we're been farmed.

11. Advocate for a correct positioin, you say that is bad?
You favor silently awaiting the decision then accepting it, all without so much as saying what you, as an individual want, or would like to see? The entire electorate should do the same? Why? To avoid the shame of having advocated for the poor and sick?
Apathy is not the answer.

19. Advocating for a position is a very much different thing than
running about willy-nilly and hyperventilating. The difference is that the former implies that there is some focus while the latter promotes fear and confusion.

21. There's a way to cut down on the conjecture. Televise the negotiations.
Let the people see "what's going on now" instead of hiding it behind closed doors.

Or, was a "transparent government" only a campaign slogan.
