Rep. Allen West's Attack called "sexist, ugly"

EMILY’s List, the political action committee that backs female candidates (almost exclusively Democrats) who support abortion rights, accused U.S. Rep. Allen West, R-Plantation, of a “sexist, ugly attack” for his scathing Tuesday e-mail to U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Weston.

Not long after the PAC put out its statement, Democratic candidate Lois Frankel — who has been endorsed by EMILY’s List and used it for money-raising help in her primary against Patrick Murphy — weighed in with a statement criticizing West’s “out of control, rude, sexist and completely inappropriate remarks.”

In addition to calling Wasserman Schultz “vile, unprofessional and despicable” and “a coward” for criticizing him on the floor of the House, West’s e-mail added, “You have proven repeatedly that you are not a Lady, therefore, shall not be afforded due respect from me!”

Said Frankel: “Congressman West owes an apology to every woman who’s been told to ‘shut up’ and sit quietly in the corner and to every senior citizen who, if West and his right wing allies get their way, will have to worry about whether they will be able to afford their health care.”

I did a lot of work in the last election trying to defeat this guy. In doing so, I had to do a lot of research into his past. He is truly a horrible human being. He ran on his military credentials, but he is a total sleaze. He's a deadbeat, he's a misogynist, he's a hateful human being. His election made me lose all faith in Florida as a serious place to live. He panders to the worst in all Americans.
