Turning Harry Truman's ethos on its' head, with Murdoch, the buck stops somewhere down below, aka: poop rolls down hill.

Rupert Murdoch: I do not accept responsibility for wrongdoing at News of the World
Rupert Murdoch has told MPs that he does not accept responsibility for wrongdoing at the News of the World.

He would go on to state as to why his media empire was too big.

"I'm sorry, if I can just say something and this is not as an excuse, maybe it's an explanation of my laxity.

"The News of the World is less than 1% of our company. I employ 53,000 people around the world who are proud and great and ethical and distinguished people, professionals in their work.

"I'm spread watching and appointing people whom I trust to run those divisions."

I have no doubt Mr Murdoch would've been a far more a competent hands on owner, if all he owned was The News of the World, but that's not the case, he owns or controls too much of the media both here and abroad and it's causing him to be dangerously careless.

I believe the least we could do for Rupert and all those people below him in the path of the poop, not to mention the American, British and Australian Peoples; who value their privacy is to break up this humongous corporate media monopoly and take the weight off his shoulders so that the burdens of responsibility may be shared more equitably among a larger group of hands on owner/managers.
