4.54pm: Someone has just tried to attack Rupert Murdoch. His wife Wendi seemed to slap the person.

9. Just updated- Guardian confrims that Murdoch was successfully pied with shaving-cream.

Murdoch's wife Wendy believed it might decrease Murdoch's net worth and so attempted, futilely, to intervene.
