The media needs to ask Grover Norquist why they put this into the U.S. Constitution:
"The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States..." Section 8, Article I, United States Constitution

4. Does that mean that the IRS, Pentagon & Homeland Security should be transfered to the Congress?
Instead of being housed with the Executive branch along with the Treasury's bill-paying department?

6. Somebody needs to ask the Republicans in power
why they continue to follow a man who has been wrong about everything all during his career? Don't they have an inkling that the man is a nutcase who expects magic to sort out an economy and who was only promoted on the basis of the Peter Principle by a few rich men who wanted it all?

Honestly, I think Republicans need tats on their foreheads, "SUCKER!"

7. Senate and Congressional Oath of Office. For some reason, I'm not seeing "Grover Norquist
anywhere in these two oaths. Seems to me they are all traitors. They have signed an oath to do what Norquist wants them to do. They need to be removed from office. Grover Norquist is a domestic enemy!

After our fabulous media asks Grover about the Constitution, perhaps they can ask the traitor Repukes about the Oath they ALL swore with their hands on their precious BIBLE. :grr:

Senate Oath of Office
Oath of Office

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

Congressional Oath of Office

OATH of OFFICE

The oath of office required by the sixth article of the Constitution of the United States, and as provided by section 2 of the act of May 13, 1884 (23 Stat. 22), to be administered to Members, Resident Commissioner, and Delegates of the House of Representatives, the text of which is carried in 5 U.S.C. 3331:

“I, AB, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

has been subscribed to in person and filed in duplicate with the Clerk of the House of Representatives by the following Members of the 112th Congress, pursuant to the provisions of 2 U.S.C. 25:
