How do you hang yourself with your feet bound and your hands tied behind your back?

It is absolutely baffling to me that the police in California aren't sure if Rebeccca Nalepa's death was a suicide or not. How can you hang yourself if your feet are tied and your hands are tied behind your back? (I read a couple articles about this and they said her hands were "bound" but then a report last night pointed out they were bound BEHIND her back).

I also don't get that a young lady, supposedly distraught over the death of her boyfriend's son, would take off all of her clothes, tie her feet, put on a noose, tie her hands behind her back and jump off a balcony railing in a spot where people from the street could see her hanging.

I hate to say it but it really looks like this poor girl was murdered. I wonder if it was her punishment that the little boy died in her care?

I've always heard that women tend to be concerned over how they will be found/seen when they attempt suicide.

Leaving a naked body is a sign of degradation and humiliation--no matter how distraught, I can't see a woman (or anyone) purposely setting that up for herself.

4. The article doesn't say that they are calling it a suicide, in fact it's being call suspicious,

violent and bizarre.

Um yeah. At least.

I'd guess that they are just leaving the word "suicide" in there as a formality and out of an abundance of caution because official COD has not been released.

That was my first thought! The reporter said the police had not determined if it was murder or suicide, and then went on to say that she was found hanging, with her feet tied together and her hands tied behind her back! i thought...WOW she must have been an amazing contortionist! What a load of crap that report was!
