The sheriff originally stated he was in the vicinity and considered a "person of interest." Reports since then (CNN) have had the sheriff's office backing off on him even being a "person of interest," but rather just someone they'd like to interview.
Yet, you have him as the Co-conspirator and Jered's handler? Where is this info coming from?
But one that makes a lot of sense when you have a young, clearly unstable shooter and sheriff who is saying that there ia "person of interest" who is much older. I'll cite the dc snipers as my example.
