Anonymous is about to dump two batches of emails aimed at The British Police and judiciary over the phone hacking scandal.

Ladies and Gentleman...we may see the complete destruction of Newscorp within the next couple of months.

Seriously, the mouthpiece of the right wing is very close to being silenced....and if not silenced, then so badly damaged and mangled it might have to sell off FOX, The Wall Street Journal and more of its US holdings.

I sure the hell hope so!

112. i am filled with a feeling like something big is changing in this
world. The Arab Spring - GOD BLESS YOU, MIDDLE EAST! HAVE COURAGE! - the Wisconsin uprising and other states following, this whole mess and the COURAGE and BRAVERY of groups like Anonymous. All of it is building. We have the world we have decided to have and now its being reimagined. We can change it if we will it into being and act when we can.

I am over the moon at the greatness of some people's courage.

Or, it could be Ma'am, I believe you are terribly cynical...and I also think you are 100% correct! :0)

But I also think that there will be quite a few people arrested over this.
I think the tighty righties have been in collusion with Murdoch to destroy the left-leaning members of society and government.
I think the police are going to see a LOT of retirements.

And then...I think we'll start finding out about blackmail and there will be a whole lot more people retiring before their personal info that was hacked, gets spilled.

Yeah, their is a chance that the political and media landscapes of England are about to be drastically altered.

And it is a good thing.

81. Is this a bad joke or just ignorance of television history? Allow me to educate you:
Edited on Mon Jul-11-11 06:27 PM by WinkyDink
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winky_Dink_and_You

Winky Dink And You was a CBS television children's show that aired from 1953 to 1957, on Saturday mornings at 10:30 a.m./9:30 central. It was hosted by Jack Barry, and featured the exploits of a cartoon character named Winky Dink (voiced by Mae Questel) and his dog Woofer, with sound effects provided by Joseph Scholnick. The show, created by Harry Prichett, Sr. and Ed Wyckoff, featured Barry and his sidekick, the incompetent Mr. Bungle (Dayton Allen), introducing clips of Winky Dink, noted for his plaid pants, tousled hair, and large eyes.

Praised by Microsoft mogul Bill Gates as "the first interactive TV show," the show's central gimmick was the use of a "magic drawing screen", which was a large piece of vinyl plastic which stuck to the television screen via static electricity. A kit containing the screen and various Winky Dink crayons could be purchased for 50 cents. At a climactic scene in every Winky Dink short, Winky would arrive upon a scene which contained a connect the dots picture. He would then prompt the children at home to complete the picture, and the finished result would help him continue the story. Examples include drawing a bridge to cross a river, an axe to chop down a tree, or a cage to trap a dangerous lion.

76. I disagree with me.
1. In a literal manner; word for word: translated the Greek passage literally.
2. In a literal or strict sense: Don't take my remarks literally.
3. Usage Problem
a. Really; actually: "There are people in the world who literally do not know how to boil water" (Craig Claiborne).
b. Used as an intensive before a figurative expression.
Usage Note: For more than a hundred years, critics have remarked on the incoherency of using literally in a way that suggests the exact opposite of its primary sense of "in a manner that accords with the literal sense of the words." In 1926, for example, H.W. Fowler cited the example "The 300,000 Unionists ... will be literally thrown to the wolves." The practice does not stem from a change in the meaning of literally itselfif it did, the word would long since have come to mean "virtually" or "figuratively"but from a natural tendency to use the word as a general intensive, as in They had literally no help from the government on the project, where no contrast with the figurative sense of the words is intended.

and the best part is...the fines they get are portioned out to people who whistleblow that the corporation has committed crimes. All those recently laid off news workers could become whistleblowers and get huge payoffs.

FNE has enough domestic and non UK stories to cover for right now. If something big happens politically or a big name gets arrested then it may get covered by FNE and only because CNN, MSNBC et al will be giving it saturation coverage.

42. Following The Telegraph's live blog..
Newest is that there are other News International papers that got information about Gordon Brown's son when he was first born..medical records about the baby possibly having cystic fibrosis, and they printed the info before the family announced it. Reports are that the former PM was also a hacking target. And: Royal Protection officers were paid money by a NI paper to hand over private info about the Royal Family, something called the "Green Book" that had their personal info in it. Stolen by a Protection officer for money.

I believe the blog also said that someome from a NI paper called Brown's bank (impersonating someone, I assume) and got his bank info.

Looks like NOTW may not have been the only NI paper up to no good.

Not that i would not be beside myself with joy if such info just adds to the current investigation let alone seriously hurt News Corp. I WOULD! However, my guess is the fix is already in on this hacking gate & Murdoch & Co. see little to no long term damage...As is the always the case when corporations break the law! owners of the big papers and networks are members. Does anyone really believe that it is a social club like the Buena Vista Social Club without the music?

He has been doing his part to attain one world control along with the others - Blair, the WP Grahams, etc.

He, with immunity from spying (in the US), is now being spied on for all to see? But, we treat him as if he is operating for himself?

If Congress gave immunity to the spies, will they really do anything good for the citizens in this case? We already know that they think Anonymous is traitorous.

I want to be pumped up with hope for this world as expressed in this thread, but we can't ignore the power of the BG plan and watching how every event shows their progress.

This is probably only going to be one of their many set-backs - they just regroup and possibly wait awhile, then proceed.

If they want to control and own the earth resources at costs that are shoved back on us = it it the same for our heads as it is for oil or water or gold, coal, or steel or secrets. We've seen the success they have had with the heads they've turned and the Party of Tea they started. FOX and all the other Republican networks and the slowly delivered revelations coming to us from our Dem leaders about where they really stand - it's all connected. The BG group is not a once a year get together for chats - it is a conglomeration of tens to hundreds of organizations that are at work all year round including behavior control. I believe we are already living under their new view of policing at the club and badge level. It's everywhere.

Murdoch is right in there. I don't know why DUers talk about him as if he was his own entity.

Obama didn't get in without their blessing?
