Hi, are there any other Dave Emory fans out there?

Well, this is something I've wanted to talk about for a little while; how many other Dave Emory listeners are out there, on DU?

For those you may not know who he is, here's a little introduction:

Originally a protege of Mae Brussell, NYC native Dave Emory started his research in the early '70s, right around the time Watergate got started. For the past 30 years, Dave has examined, on air, many of the various interconnecting historical processes, people and institutions which shape the com plex geopolitical landscape. While often outside the main stream of public information, Dave has had a proven track record of prognostication and “I told you so...” providing much needed context to the fast-moving and often seemingly unintelligible news events of our time. Most of his work has been archived and is available for download, for free.

If anybody would like an introduction to his work, I'll see if I can dig up a few program descriptions for ya. =)

2. I first found out about Dave thru one of Mae's old programs, btw.

Also, I did already know about WFMU, and I listen to him just about every week, in fact.......but then again, it was a good idea anyway, because that way, people know where to go if they want to listen to much of his stuff without having to download anything. =)

3. I used to listen to him

Roy Tuckman used to describe him as "the man who reports the news three years in advance" (not an exact quote).

6. Yes, but they only archive the last few months

I don't know of any archive going back further.
If you find one, let me know.
