Chase Bank FINALLY apologizes to Ikenna Njoku
And you know what I say, you bankster phuckers, it's not ENOUGH. I hope he takes you to the cleaners, assholes.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43673909/ns/business-local_business/

For 28-year-old Ikenna Njoku, what should have been the simple act of cashing a check turned into four days in jail and the loss of his car and job.

A year ago Njoku, a construction worker, had just purchased his first home and qualified for a federal rebate for first-time home buyers on his tax return.

He says he requested to have the rebate deposited directly into his Chase bank account in Auburn, Wash., but when the IRS rebate arrived, he found out that Chase had closed his account because of overdrawn checks. The bank deducted $600 to cover what he owed and mailed Njoku a cashier's check of $8,463.21 to make up the difference.

When Njoku arrived at the bank to cash the Chase check, he says the teller immediately became suspicious.

9. +1
Can't cry for them even after what Chris Christie, Rick Scott, and Scott Walker have done to them.
Their unions endorsed these thugs and the cops are now reaping the "rewards" of those endorsements.

2. He deserves a substantial settlement. I would think this would be in Chase's interest
to make this go away.

6. They should have been working to understand the details for over a year...
Only when their butts are to the fire do they respond.

7. Only when the media got it, imo.
Details were simple, they probably understood them w/in 1-2 days. They chose to ignore. His losses almost impossible to compensate, but they owe him a ton.

4. JP Morgan Chase just had criminal charges dropped by the DOJ

It was criminal charges dropped for major crimes and all they had to do was pay the feds some money.

8. They may have admitted 'fault.' Liability, that's another thing.
Hope his lawyer is able to do some serious negotiating, as they surely will be found liable for large losses if litigated. (But this is N.C? Dunno.)
