in the post to which I responded? That post said that Obama is able to get over on the Repukes, causing them to "overreach". I said that the results from last November make that a silly claim - in fact the president is the one constantly on the defensive, cowing down to every lie, threat, and insult from the fascists. Where do the coat tails come in?

The only reason we won many of those seats was from people going out to vote. They came out mostly because Obama was running and they wanted to vote for him. And while at the booth they voted for a lot of other Dems. Obama's coattails is what got many of them elected in the first place. Obama wasn't running last November therefore no coattails.

6. It sure didn't help that the CPA

literally put a bunch of 20-somethings in charge of reconstruction in Iraq, not to mention nobody could even figure out what the hell the CPA actually was and under whose jurisdiction it fell when it became clear that there was major fraud going on.
