David Axelrod: President Obama booted me from Osama bin Laden briefing

...............

“A guy I recognized as a briefer … from the National Security Council came in,” Axelrod recalled. “The president asked me to leave. I didn’t think much of it.”

More than a day later, woken up by his wife after going to bed early, Axelrod figured it out: Obama was being briefed on plans for the raid against bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. But Obama kept Axelrod – now a top advisor on the president’s reelection campaign – in the dark.

Speaking during a panel at the Aspen Ideas Festival on Tuesday, Axelrod said he “did not know” about the raid.

Later on, after Axelrod was been brought into the room, he and Obama got back to writing jokes for the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, but the president didn’t want one about bin Laden. “We’re doing the jokes, and we came to a joke about Tim Pawlenty,” which was originally written to suggest that the former Minnesota governor’s middle name was “Bin Laden.”

4. I find it most appropriate
that the President would review and evaluate his public communications prior to making them.

5. AAAhhh.... 'he and Obama got back to writing jokes'
That is what he stated. Writing and reviewing equal two different things to me. But hey, whatever. Yes a review and final say would be very appropriate. My guess is that Ax should have kept his mouth shut about the whole thing. In the end none of this really matters.

6. In the 60 Minutes interview with Croft, Obama said that he told NO ONE, not even Michelle.
What makes Axelrod, a political advisor, important?

This is a non-story. What are they trying to show? Now, Axelrod and Obama are on the outs?

I hate the Corproate Media!!!
