1. raining up in coastal Humboldt Co too....
Started raining last night, rained on and off all day. Raining currently. Not hard, but it sure as hell shut down my plans for the day!

2. We're getting drenched in Berkeley.
Totally bizarre. It's cold, too. Brrrrr. Will probably put a fire log on tonight while we watch True Blood.

Even my wayward cat decided it was to crappy to stay outside and graced us with his presence in our nice dry house.

3. La Nina year
that means there are going to be some strange rain patterns. Places that usually don't get rain get a lot of rain and places that usually do get, don't get as much rain as normal.

4. Pouring since mid-morning east in central Contra Costa.
The weather talking heads did say that it was a very unusual pattern for this late in the year.

5. Here in Sonoma County too.
Very strange for this time of the year. It's usually dry from the end of May until the end of August (at least).
