I see her potentially skyrocketing to no elected office of great importance, but she does have the opportunity to become a major famous political icon/legend of national stature. She maybe end up their VP candidate.

I say that because she brings a great asset to the job: she is of one mind with an audience that absolutely adores ignorance, especially if it is seen to be open and willful ignorance.

Her biggest challenge right now is to create and preserve a buffer zone between her and whatever competent political operatives the GOP sends in to make her correct all her errors ad seriatim.

She should and I think will stand by her stupidity and proclaim herself to be an independent-minded sort, no slave to the pointy-headed "liberal" version of history.

meanwhile, most smart GOP operatives likely believe they have no real chance of beating Obama, so no-one who is expendable in the party of Ronald Reagan seriously wants to allocate political capital to block any popular fringe candidate from a candidacy, so I think she could run well and end up as a VP candidate.

This seems bizarre at first, but really, what's hard to believe about that? Makes a lot of sense. She's stupid, and they like stupid. In the deal, she gets a national campaign to forge a reputation as an anti-intellectual, anti-media, anti-elite kinda gal that she should be able to cash in on quite handsomely for a lifetime.

And while she may be the second star woman in that political franchise area right now, that ranking may be subject to change.
