Fitzgerald jokes Supreme Court "crazier than the Legislature"

By Patrick Marley of the Journal Sentinel

Ashwaubenon -- Here's the response of the top two legislative leaders to accusations that Justice David Prosser put his hands around the neck of Justice Ann Walsh Bradley during a heated exchange earlier this month:

"Wow," said Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald (R-Juneau). "The Supreme Court is crazier than the Legislature, apparently. It's hard for me to believe that really happened."
...............................

The two took questions from reporters after Gov. Scott Walker signed the budget at an Ashwaubenon manufacturer. Walker did not take questions.

violence against women.

2. Waadya mean? Prosser had to defend hiself against that NECK!
Unfortunately, the story and counter story do indeed reduce the WI Supreme Court to incredible partisanship and interpersonal bickering.

I cannot see how anyone will be able to respect decisions coming out of these justices. Everything is going to be tainted with personal and partisan stink.

The money grubbing thugs the corporatists have purchased to serve as state officers have in very short order brought to the brink of ruin the once great and honorable institutions of this state's governance.

Shoe-horning Wisconsin into the corporatist political footprint of places like Alabama, Mississippi, and the Mariana Islands is painful.

3. I wonder why assult charges were not immediately filed (IF
indeed this did happen--which by the way I do believe it did happen as I do not think a SC would put out a statement such as Bradley did if it were untrue).

They are handling this "internally" but the incident got leaked by someone.

4. That's what I don't understand. She should have filed assault charges immediately.
Maybe she is already doing that? Or do they have to go through certain procedures...like filing with the State Atty. General, or something? I wonder why this hasn't been sent to the courts to handle like the crime that it is.

5. Correction. ONE member of the Supreme Court vs.
you and your fucking brother and Grothman and Darling, etc., etc., I think you win hands down. A group of under and uneducated, corporate ass-kissers (I want to say something worse) that have no idea how reviled they all are by most of WI residents (many of whom will now be blocked from voting).
