DU PSA: A piece of advice regarding internet posts that threaten violence

If you see a post on a website (for example, Free Republic) that directly advocates violence against a particular group or instructs to do violence against a particular individual, don't just copy and paste the text of the post here. Keep the tab with the post open and undisturbed, and hit your "Print Screen" key (it's to the lower-right of the F12 key up on top).

Then, go into your favorite image program, and paste the screenshot you just took into a new file (if you see "create from clipboard" or something like it use that option instead). Then immediately save the file to your desktop or somewhere else that you will be able to easily locate. Finally, use Photobucket or another such site to upload the image and save it into the cloud. Then post the image link here on DU.

Thank you for reading. If you do it this way, you'll have much stronger ammunition if you decide to notify the authorities about the site's content.

5. I got this thingy called FireShot...

It will take the entire web page, not just visible area and produce an image, dump me into an editor with it.

It integrates with all browsers nicely.
