1. Only in America can someone graduate from a law school that teaches fairy tales
America is definitely unique. People can get higher degrees about fairy tales, and the media treats fairy tales as if they were science. How f****d up is that?

3. LOL! She might as well be wearing clown shoes and a red rubber nose.
Any graduate from any bible-banging 'college' (and I do use the term loosely), is a f****** nutjob and has the IQ of roadkill.

5. According to one study I read quite some time ago, 70% of
Americans believe that angels (the literal heavenly Biblical type) actually exist. By that standard, a belief in 'intelligent design,' ludicrous though it seems to anyone with even a passing acquaintance with biology and genetics, seems positively rational by comparison. And that ain't saying much.

8. Well, I believe there's 'something,' but I don't go around denying fact and science.
I think religions that are threatened by science and fact, have good reason to be threatened by science and fact.

10. I grew up Catholic and went to Catholic school, and we studied evolution
I can't stomach religions that are so ignorant that they need to deny science in order to have a belief at all. It shows their religion has nothing to stand on and that reality threatens its dogma.

9. "Intelligent Design" is not a science. It's a notion. Anyone can believe
a notion since it requires no demonstrable proof. nt

12. Agreed. The very idea that intelligent design be taken seriously anywhere, is absurd
Edited on Sun Jun-26-11 04:41 PM by Sarah Ibarruri
It makes this country a laughingstock to all other advanced nations.
