2. Internet polls are worthless
They have no more honesty in them than the votes for Dancing With the Stars.........

9. I really believe marriage equality is coming soon for ALL the states, so they might as well
get used to it now. It's happening. NY state is huge.

10. Right on, Dragon
Not that "legimate" polls are much more worthwhile.

19. Exactly! Which is why
I wonder why people even bother wasting their time "DUing" them.

So freepers are skewing the results. Big deal.

I can't see how that's any different from DUers skewing the results of polls on Fux News or some other Conservative site.

Like the results are really going to matter after the poll disappears from the site...

3. I think that poll is a done deal for the homophobes.
I added my two cents though. And I don't care what the homophobes think!

4. It's the law now
so f*ck 'em. They can whine all they want and spend hours of their time responding to online polls. They lost and they can just suck it up.

7. I do wonder
how many of the respondents were New Yorkers. For what it's worth, not me. I am hoping the my state will see the error of its ways and get it right next time.

16. Somebody on Huffington quoted a poll from some analytics
whatever in DC which showed New Yorkers opposed to gay marriage by 60%. Maybe the reverse but opposed? I did a search and went on their website. All the polls they showed were on Catholics this and Catholics that. Hmm. Clicked on their staff and it was much of the same. In their bios they had all graduated from Catholic Universities. Very unbiased pollsters I could conclude from that. What New Yorkers did they poll? Those coming out of Mass?

Be careful with polls and do a little research.
