Just heard some good news from a friend of mine who happens to be a recruiter
not for the Armed Forces, but for firms that do massive engineering work here and abroad.

Her, words, not mine...

"Recruiting at our company is picking up which is a good thing for all concerned..."

This is a trend she has observed. There are several huge construction projects that are getting underway in many areas across the country.

Here in Cleveland, they are reconstructing the inner belt freeway bridge over the Cuyahoga River Valley.

I think it is almost 2.5 miles long all together. This is going to put thousands of Union people to work right here on the North Coast.

Also, they are constructing a casino and a Medical Mart. All tolled, it will inject over $2.5 billion into the economy here in Cleveland over the next seven to ten years.

She was talking about across the country so that is a good sign for the economy.

Just a little good news to counter all the bad that seems to be coming at us at super sonic speed...

5. Thanks for letting us know, Chris...
Cleveland has been suffering under so many losses; it's great to hear that things are getting better.

I hope this trend will soon be seen all over the country.

Our infrastructure is badly in need of this sort of work.

Recommended.
