The Executive has received far too much power to wage war without Congressional permission extending far beyond, I'm sure, the Constitution's intent for a President to make war.

For example: I'm a congressman. I go out to dinner with my spouse, come home, pay the babysitter, watch a little Leno, make love to my wife and then go to sleep.

The next morning I wake up, get a cup of coffee and watch the Today show only to find out there's a new war. That's kind of how Libya happened.

I know there are a lot of issues Progressives care about but for many reasons (like survival) I'm beginning to think this needs to be way up there on the list.

The Executive branch must be reigned in on issues of war.

1. You made an error.

For example: I'm a congressman. I go out to dinner with an escort while my wife is out of town, come home, pay off the babysitter, watch a little Leno, make love to my ego and then go on a bender.

The next morning I come to, have a shot of Dewars and watch the Today show only to find out there's a new war that I'm not in on.

2. Great one! I am assuming however you are a Republican
(after all, you seem to prefere real sex over virtual sex--I hear the virtual sex is especially big in Democratic circles.)

Man you SO doubled down--why you gotta' be a Republican.

I think we should both write for the Daily Show.
