Yet another lawmaker has posted photos of himself without wearing a shirt.

Only this time it's Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) and the pictures were posted on his Facebook page.

The album, dated June 5, shows six photos of Paul, shirtless and tan, playing in a pool with a baby girl identified as Caroline.

Shirtless politician in a bedroom or even living room is yucky. Politician in swimming trunks in a pool with perhaps a granddaughter isn't yucky. It's the context.

12. I understand that you're trying to make a point, but you're doing it poorly.

Issue-wise, Ron Paul is a crazy-ass. His odd/insane views have nothing to do with this thread, however. It's just some dude in a pool.

Other than that I find that criticizing people based on their appearance to be one of the most shallow, non-progressive things a person can do.

I happen like Ron Paul anyway. I wouldn't vote for him, because I don't agree with his views-- but he does at least make his own arguments, and they're coherent. And and isn't just a salesman for a string of think tanks and super wealthy interests.
