2. Jedi. Mind. Trick.
This is not a war you are looking at.

You know Jedi is an officially recognized religion in the UK.

8. In the cause of "protecting civilians".
Like Quadaffi or not, Libya was an internal problem.

I think Quadaffi sucks but had been somewhat rehabbed by WOT/no WMD decisions to get along post 9-11.

The big problems the US/NATO had with Quadaffi was his trying to diversify customer base and get more net revenue for Libya from oil, belief and actions toward a stronger African Union, and discussions regarding a Russian naval base on the Mediterranean (in addition to the Russian Naval base in Syria).

USA/NATO showed its stripes in not working with the African Union in ceasefire and UN monitored elections.

More civilians will be killed than if USA/NATO had not interfered.

Libya would likely have gone cold by now like Egypt and Tunisia and Bahrain without outside intervention.

"We" are still on the PNAC agenda adjusted for time; Syria and Lebanon are next in the "Long War".

The US/NATO is reliving WWI UK in North Africa and the Middle East.

4. Obama must have believed them when they said Gaddafi would
give up right away. Otherwise he'd have been a fool to get involved with this.
