Remember...a similar encounter with Jon Stewart brought down CNN's iconic "Crossfire."

I don't expect Jon to similarly take out Fox, but the national attention his interview with Chris Wallace is getting will leave a mark. The reason? Because Fox viewers actually got to see it, and it's still making news. Real news, not Fox.

6. Don't think it matters, because the roughly
20% of the people Fox cares about either won't care or won't see. And Fox doesn't care if they lose some small percentage of rational viewers. They have cultivated their core, it's solid as hell and not going anywhere. Those bigoted right-wingers probably thought Jon made a fool of himself. The reason that the Crossfire attack led to the show's demise, IMO, was because it occurred at a time when CNN still tried to maintain some sense of balance--not Faux-world in 2011 I'm afraid.
