Edited on Sun Jun-19-11 06:43 PM by Stuart G
Is the election on July 12, the real election, or some kind of primary?

What is the election in August?.
.A clear explaination from someone would be appreciated. Thanks ahead of time..

1. July - Primary (read Dems vs. fake)... Aug - recall six Republicans....
...and defend the three Democrats facing recall.

2. So, basically we need to go to bat twice, as opposed to once.?
This must be understood by all, who donate, as well as vote.
I am sure that there are many others who are not clear on this..thanks..

3. This is not rocket science, but it's hard enough to get people to bother voting even once
even when it should be understood how important it is to vote. It's easily explained in 1 simple sentence, but there will be voters who just don't get it or just don't care.

How these recall elections here in Wisconsin go will foreshadow the recall of Walker next year. This is not going to be a cakewalk.

5. The GOP is doing everything they can to make that as difficult as possible
They have so far...

1) Set up fake Dems as candidates to run against real Dem candidates who run against the rethugs up for recall
2) Which triggers an extra, fake, confusing primary election (Est. cost to taxpayers upwards of $500,000)
3) Passed their voter ID (suppression) bill in time to cause public confusion over whether ID's are required for the recall elections
4) Had their complicit MSM run articles saying ID's were required for these elections when they are actually not required until 2012
5) Shortened the time period allowed for absentee voting in the recalls from 4 weeks to 2 weeks
6) Changed the "Durational residency requirement" to vote in the recall election from 10 to 28 days (effective as of Tues. June 14).
7) Reduced the number of places people can vote in the recall elections. In District 8, the city of Glendale will have only 1 of their 6 polling places open.

I'm sure there's more that I haven't thought or heard of, and also sure that they have plenty more tricks up their sleeves

Set-up is right...
