Hmmmmmmmm Japan nuclear: Radiation halts water clean-up
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-13819767
<snip>

Operators of Japan's Fukushima nuclear plant have suspended an operation to clean contaminated water hours after it began due to a rapid rise in radiation.

Some 110,000 tonnes of water have built up during efforts to cool reactors hit by the 11 March earthquake and tsunami.

The contaminated water, enough to fill 40 Olympic-sized swimming pools, has been at risk of spilling into the sea.

2. We can hope and dream
I heard a moron here suggesting that we need a nuclear power plant.
Yep an island that faces hurricanes six months a year and lies on a fault needs nuclear power plants.

3. The nightmare that never ends.
I shudder to think about how much contamination is already in the oceans, and how much more will pour in. Humans really do seem determined to destroy ourselves and every other living thing on earth.

Oh that's right, anti-nuke folks don't do "math".

"Math" is what the snobby educated folks do.
