The "exciting" Tea Party alternative to "Summer Camp".
Summer Camp to Tea Party types has become too socialist. While the idea of going kayaking through rapids or horse riding through mountains may not sound like a horrible commie plot to most people, never underestimate the idiocy of the tea-bagger.

The young child of the knuckle dragging Tea Party type can expect to look forward to:

"learning the principles of liberty, free markets, and limited government. They will also learn the values of personal responsibility, faith, courage, hard work, reverence and thrift."

Jeff Lukens, of "American Thinker" irrelevance promises much excitement

"We want to impart to our children what our nation is about, and what they may or may not be told," Lukens said.

He said he was not familiar with public school curriculum, but, "I do know they have a lot of political correctness. We are a faithful people, and when you talk about natural law, you have to talk about God. When you take that out of the discussion, you miss the whole thing."

Exciting activities include winning hard candies that get replaced by "paper money" by a banker. Over time, the paper loses its value, while the gold standard hard candies retain their value. All this to excitingly teach the poor offspring of a Tea Party type the value of the gold standard.

Presumably, to fully teach Republican values, the banker will then demand half of everyones remaining money because he is about to declare bankruptcy and he then relends that money back out to them at an exorbitant rate.

To excitingly and accurately teach the children about other cultures and how America is Number One, they will be made to go in to an "austere" room and forced in to silence. This is to teach the children about Europe. They can then go through an exciting obstacle course to arrive in a brightly painted room known as "The New World". Camp site managers will then throw red white abd blue confetti for "fun", after which the children will be excitedly forced to clean up the confetti. This supposedly teaches them with "freedom comes responsibility".

Children will then excitedly blow bubbles from a single container of soapy solution, and then pop each other's bubbles with squirt guns "in an arrangement that mimics socialism". They are to count how many bubbles they pop. Then they will work with individual bottles of solution and pop their own bubbles. "What they will find out is that you can do a lot more with individual freedom"

If enough Tea baggers inflict this child abuse sign up for this exciting summer camp, The Tampa 912 project wants to bring their special brand of greed based education to a school near you.

Their founding principles make for great reading :-
4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.

Tell that to a policeman.

5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.

Doesn't that conflict with 4?

7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.

I thought government encourages charitable giving via tax breaks? Oh, they mean taxes for the supply of things like the emergency services, social security, roads.

8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.

Unless of course the President is a Republican.

9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.

Go to an army base and say that.

12 Values: Honesty, Reverence, Hope, Thrift, Humility, Charity, Sincerity, Moderation, Hard Work, Courage, Personal Responsibility, and Gratitude.

Moderation? I thought supporting moderates, aka RINOs was a No No to Teabaggers.
