1. Why couldn't this one-line post go in one of the other Weiner threads?
Just need extra attention?

5. And those with sexual compulsions will still be represented in Congress
By a player yet to be named, but who will probably be shamefully revealed to us in a matter of months.

:sarcasm:

7. I'll miss Weiner because he often says thing other Dems won't, but should.
I hope he returns to public life soon. I also hope his Democratic colleagues who were so eager to be rid of this "distraction" will wow us with the progress they're going to make in his absence.

8. I started missing him the day he lied to our faces
He was one of the good guys I could count on in this through-the-looking-glass world where the politicians twist reality in order to gain power.

He was an important voice that revealed the extent politicians would go to destroy the world. When he and his behavior was exposed, I wondered how I could go back to watching him on Megan Kelly prove Fox's bias and lies, or stand on the floor of the senate and put those republicans to shame.

I watched again his speech at the correspondence dinner (he bragged about how his twitter account was so popular). That speech, that was so funny and truthful and uplifting, is now sad shows a kind of arrogance and ugliness that overshadows his words.

I thought perhaps it would just take time. I could learn to look at him again without thinking of the the giant penis picture and his willingness to lie to our faces (through Rachael Maddow) and claim that is dick was too small to be in that picture. That demeaned him. And us.

I don't know. I agree with Maddow that there is definitely a double standard--the republicans lie and cheat and destroy and are still in power.

And perhaps with time, the giant need to yell "you big fat liar" to the TV would subside and I again could be so thankful that someone is there to expose the political lies.

I started missing him the day the mealymouthedlyingBreitbart got to be vindicated.

9. I like him too.
He was on the right side of most issues and was fighting the good fight against Slappy Thomas.
