(MN State House Repub) Rep. Hackbarth raises Hitler, Castro in email to union leader
ST. PAUL, Minn. - The leader of a Minnesota state employee union is taking a Republican state lawmaker to task for an email to a constituent in which he compares union politics to Fidel Castro and Adolf Hitler.

Rep. Tom Hackbarth of Cedar responded last week to an email from Robin Seifert, a constituent who is also a member of the Minnesota Association of Professional Employees. In her message, Seifert told Hackbarth she wants state lawmakers to support Democratic Gov. Mark Dayton's proposal to increase the income tax increase on the state's wealthiest earners.

In his response, Hackbarth said the message sounded like Communist propaganda and raised comparisons to Castro and Hitler.

The president of the union released the exchange Monday. Hackbarth's legislative aide said the lawmaker was on a trip to northern Minnesota and could not be reached for comment.

1. After reading his response it seems he is more versed in
Hitler and Castro history than he is in American history.

Also arrested a short time ago looking for a woman with a loaded gun.
He should be held for a psych evaluation

2. The man is an ideologue who is ignorant about US history.
Was he educated in the MN public schools?? The US is in the bottom 5 of the G20 for worker's rights. American businesses are signing union agreements in order to do business in foreign countries. They don't care whether the country is communist (China) or not. American businesses deprive workers of their rights to unionize, but readily accept unionization as a passport into the foreign markets( WalMart,IBM,and more). And what is really interesting, for all the mocking that is done about the socialism in foreign countries, ie European Union, those companies are thriving. The European companies are buying up American assets across the country :toll roads, energy companies, public transportation assets(Greyhound Bus, Rydel trucking) Pinkerton security, auto manufacturing plants while american companies are hording the billions they make in the US market to export jobs overseas. Respect for workers' rights to get fair pay for work performed is not socialist or communist, it is the fair and moral thing to do.

3. So what's his Freeper handle? That e-mail reads like someone who is damn near illiterate.
“Are you a Union member?...If so, are they the communist giving you this propaganda?

"Hitler rose to power using and blaming the jews the destruction of the German economy...Castro built his army of murderers by blaming the rich bankers and capitalist for destroying Cuba and taking advantage of the Cuban people. Hummmm?”

Hummmm, indeed.
