That new RNC guy is quite a creep, makes you miss Michael Steele...Anyway, on MTP today, this guy, sorry, his name escapes me and he is such an asshole i don't feel like looking it up, said TWICE that todays economic numbers are almost at depression levels...What BS...During the Great Depression, unemployment was over 20%, stock market lost more than half its value, the country was a decade removed from World War I and was little over a decade away from entering WW II...As lousy as these times are, this is no Great Depression....Gregory should have immidiately challenged him on that, but he didn't because that smug host was too focused on Anthony Weiner...

Also, they showed that gas was $1.83 when Obama took office on 1/20/09 and todays gas price was $3.73...There is no way gas was averaging $1.83 on 1/20/09!...Gas hasn't been under $2.00 since probably 2004-05 or thereabouts...If I'm wrong please correct me, but i cannot remember gas being under $2.00 for quite some time..

All in all, MTP was sloppy and careless....Can they bring back Tom Brokaw to host it?...

He did try at one point to press Preibus on what exact policy the Republicans would enact to create jobs and nothing but blabber about tax cuts came out of this mouth.

There was a similar exchange on This Week with Shelby offering up nothing but tax cuts and cutting regulation to create jobs.

Neither host decided to ask the guests why a new tax cut would work any differently than the Bush tax cuts which have so far, even a decade in, not created a single job.
