Since impeachment for lying about a war was off the table
(so saith Pelosi)

...as far as I'm concerned, we no longer have rule of law in this nation.

Yet right now we have people trying to get a liberal democratic with a solid track record to resign. And want to hold freaking hearings about this shit.

How many of those same people calling for hearings and tsk-tsking at this time also defend the democrats' decision to take impeachment "off the table" and then agree that it's too politically divisive to hold anyone in the Bush administration responsible for torture?

I mean, honestly, if we let an administration get away with torture and war crimes, as far as I'm concerned, all the pols in DC could form a human centipede and - so what - torture, apparently, is forgivable but lying about an indiscretion means someone is not fit to hold public office.

that's a real fine sense of values there.

4. Go to twitter and get yourself an account.
You'll love it. It's very low maintenance - unless you are an effective Democratic Congressman and then every scumbag in the wingnuthouse will stalk you.

13. A good portion of Democrats are simply concerned with beating R's even if they have to become them.
Back in the old days they called it "opportunism."

15. What country?
We're an empire, engaged in what empires do -- making the Emperor and his minions rich and powerful beyond human understanding.

Currently we are engaged in three open-ended wars against nations that did nothing to hurt us (Afghanistan's Taliban leaders sheltered Osama snd offered to turn him over to a neutral country after September 11, an offer refused by Bush and Co.).

As you've seen happen over the years, RainDog, the Constitution has become nothing more than a scrap of ... paper.

from prosecuting our own over war crimes...and now we are in a world of shit. Imagine.

17. I understand why the corrupt motherfuckers at the top are doing this
I don't understand why all the 'Murkins are going along with it.

We are getting the corrupt, totalitarian government that a majority of this country deserves.

The rest of us are just fucked.
