and surprise her in Africa the next day.

23. I'm not sure how quitting his job is going to help with the baby.
In the world I live in it's generally considered a bad idea for the non-pregnant partner to quit just when there's a baby on the way.

Of course, it's also considered a bad idea for the non-pregnant partner to cheat, although it happens a lot. In many ways this is an old, sad story. The only thing remotely new about it is the technology.

It's all the same don't you know? Bad, bad, bad! Feel the outrage. (You like the diss on our animal selves? People have always shat away from where they live, but never mind.)

We must all speculate about Weiner's wife today, don't you know? Orders from the purse-lipped undertitillated brigade have come down.

Fukushima?

An escalation of US violence in Yemen? Libya?

Debate about withdrawing more troops from Afghanistan?

Why are gas prices so high? Can we stop the assault on all non-military spending?

Huh?

THERE WAS A DICK ON THE NETWORK!!! We are all victimized by it.

Is this outside your realm of possibility?

46. Please post a link with a quote of Weiner saying he told her he'd stop.
The only thing that Anthony has said is that he talked to Huma about his online chats before they married.
There is NO quote where he says anything about telling her that he'd 'stop'.

18. I feel terribly for her. I hope she comes to a conclusion that is good for HER.
She simply has to look for what her best course of action is, both for herself and for her child. She may not be able to live with a child to be raised and a husband who refuses to be a rational and moral man. She might see that she faces a very tough road ahead with an emotionally disturbed husband. It can be daunting. Many women have faced this, unfortunately, and have decided no man is better than just any man. It might be better to get out of the relationship...

We must know more about Weiner's Wiener! We must pursue the all-important new angle of projecting our neuroses on to his wife.

I hope you're also covering some more Palin and Paul Revere.

Thank you for warding off the danger that Americans might have to talk about confusing and ominous things that actually affect their lives, especially the ones happening in countries they can't place on a map. At least people can find their own dick.

24. "Bill and Hillary Clinton are reportedly “deeply unhappy” about Anthony Weiner’s behavior"
"Bill and Hillary Clinton are “deeply unhappy” with Anthony Weiner, friends tell The New York Times. Weiner’s wife Huma Abedin is a longtime top aide to Hillary Clinton, and Bill Clinton officiated at the couple’s 2010 wedding. But Weiner’s Twitter scandal has cast unwanted light on Abedin, which has displeased them."

Birds of a feather, flocking together.

Just think, we'll have a few more months of these kind of revelations (and much worse, no doubt) via the House Ethics Committee investigation of Weiner, if he doesn't resign. Just imagine the testimony by Weiner's Women and the visual and sext evidence being leaked daily to the media by gleeful Republicans! Won't that be wonderful for the Democratic Party's messaging campaign as Pelosi tries to take back the House in 2012?

:sarcasm:

38. Ironic? Huge hypocrisy.
His Epic Triviality, Bill the Clinton's greatest opportunity to change history and leave a worthy "legacy" came and went when he failed to say, "Any consensual sexual relations I may have with adults are not your business and should not be the subject of our political debates when there are so many other important things." Everything else he "did" was pretty much exactly what would have happened in those years under your typical intellectually cowardly politician, anyway.

When the wife and Hillary talk about their husbands!! I'm sure statements like..."let's face it, men are walking talking dicks!" were said. Seriously, Hillary felt that inspite of his flaws, Bill was still the most interesting man she'd ever met. No sensible person judges someone they love by his weaknesses only. They are a whole package...hmm..so to speak.

"early stages of pregnancy"
"poor thing"

Don't know the woman in the least and never will. But I'd still put my money the "poor thing" making hash out of anyone who has the idiocy to call her that to her face. If she's strong enough to hang with Hillary, she's strong enough to handle the little twits who presume to know anything about her life and talk like pregnancy is a disease.

41. No snark intended
Just kinda had it up to my whatziz with the "ALL women are victims" meme. I fully own my hardness on the matter and realize it's a little off putting to some.

Honestly, you might be right, she might be a poor little delicate thing who falls apart at the least hint of disappointment. But I can't imagine she'd be able to hold up to Hillary if she was. Let's face it, Hillary is tough enough to make even me look like sweetness and light.

Huma is going to have a baby. WOMEN do work while pregnant.
Secretary Clinton's trip was planned long before the media went wild on Anthony.
Why the hell should Huma not continue to do her job working for Hillary as usual?
Huma has been Hillary's aide for MANY years, she always goes where Hillary goes.

For people that haven't heard: Women have careers independent of their spouses, this is 2011.
