Our Right-Wing Clerk made two false statements in this article here is the correct Recall rules:
The signatures needed on a recall petition must be collected within a 90 day “window” period. Any signatures which are dated more than 90 days prior to the date the recall petition is filed are invalid and not counted.
The number of valid signatures required to force a recall election is equal to 25 percent of the number of persons that voted in the last preceding election for the office of Governor of Michigan in the electoral district of the officer sought to be recalled.
We need 22,175 valid signatures not 40,000!
