9. I told some friends of mine I'm buying a Ford hybrid. Their reaction?

They told me I should get a Dodge RAM or cadillac Escalade. Me - no way in hell could I afford the gas on those things.

I should also mention they work for an oil refinery so that meant job security. I explained to them its the opposite - by buying a hybrid I'm helping to conserve what's left of our oil so that means it'll stretch out our supply more.
