Sarah Palin Issues Tea Party BLACKMAIL THREAT To The GOP

Fresh off of her family vacation turned educational tour, Sarah Palin slams the GOP and issues round one of her warning “bell” on Fox’s Hannity.

:smoke: :smoke:

The GOP doesn’t want Sarah Palin to run, and not just because her negatives are so large, but because she isn’t reliable and they know this. It’s not that they are against running a puppet, but a person who is as erratic as Palin can’t be controlled and hence, she’s not going to be their choice. Given that, Palin and the establishment Republicans have been playing cat and mouse since Palin put the nail in the 2008 campaign coffin for McCain.

The GOP has oodles of opposition research on her, but she has the Tea Party and as she proved in the 2010 elections, the Tea Party will do as she says. Remember how sister Sarah cost the GOP the Senate in 2010, running a Tea Party candidate against an establishment Republican? She’s threatening to do the same thing again, but this time, in the Presidential election. After working her way through some rather petty snipes at MSNBC, Palin really gets wound up discussing Donald Trump’s possible candidacy. She tells Sean that while she would not have suggested a third party a year ago, the GOP hasn’t gotten its act together and so now, it’s Tea Party time.

“…If they’re not careful in the GOP there will be a third party rise up,“ Palin said “just like back in the day when the Whigs finally went away and the Republicans rose up, that’s what the GOP should be fearing today- is that the electorate will get fed up with business as usual in the GOP and a third party will rise up. Not that I want to see that, because I still have belief strongly that the GOP planks are best for our country, but the machine that runs the GOP has got to be very careful.” She ends with a menacing tone that suggests she’s not just lobbing talking points tonight; she means business. She’s tired of being laughed at and not taken seriously by the GOP.

For these sins, the GOP might pay with a third party (Tea Party “common sense conservative”) candidate. Palin ominously warns, “This is another opportunity to invite a third party in and if they don’t want to see that, they’d better get their stuff together.”

4. What about Bachmann?
Will it be Trump/Palin or Trump/Bachmann with Palin as kingmaker? Or Palin/Bachmann?

I'm sure there's one person the GOP establishment despises more than Palin: Bill Kristoff who convinced McCain to name Palin his running mate.

5. I Don't Think The GOP Will Take This Threat Lying Down & I'd Watch For.....
the GOP to come up with some scandal that will take Palin down for good and knock her out of the news. If they can fabricate scandals like Weinergate - they can surely come up with a Palingate.

9. Funny, with all the scandals surrounding this flake, she is still standing
and the reality is she is still a major force for the GOP establishment to contend with. Palin has survived where others would have crumbled and blown away. Not her. I'm sure the GOP understands that waging ' war ' with Palin is nothing short of party suicide. Palin is starting to show signs of a coming ' scorched earth ' strategy waiting to see who blinks first. I may be wrong on this but the party quarrels are becoming very public.

20. The thing is, they don't even have to fabricate a Palin scandal
There's enough shit in the Wasilla hockey rink (first lump: Sarah started construction before they had clear title to all the land) that, if properly exploited, will drive those long twisty nails that won't come out into the coffin of Palin's political career.

6. I support her insanity 100%. Bring on the Nutter party!
Then maybe when POTUS and a Dem Senate are re-elected by a comfy margin in 2012, they can start to get some truly progressive policy in place for the average folks of this country.

11. And when BushInc decides Palin's in Jeb's way, it'll be time for her to go. They play for keeps.
Palin will be taken down or threatened into getting back in line.

12. Such dirty tactics might have worked against McCain but Palin is another animal altogether. The Bush
brand name is forever marred thanks to junior Bush, W. Apart from Palin, the Bushes have other enemies in their skeletal closet waiting for when the time is just right to rear is head. Jeb, he's not going anywhere if Palin doesn't agree to play nice. She still commands a rabid, loyal core group of supporters who will see ANY attempts against her as nothing but fabricated, republican boys-club lies.

17. I said BushInc plays for KEEPS. If she chooses to confront them openly it won't last too long.
One way or another she'll be made to learn who is boss of the fascist agenda.

18. In my wildest dreams
I would love to see Sarah and family given a test about all that they learned on their "hysterical tour" of our nations landmarks.
I would bet she could not answer one question even if it were so simple as "what state is the Washington Monument in?".

21. If she goes in that direction, she will be treated with the same
"door slammed in the face" media-wise that progressive candidates have always faced. The vast inattentive public will no longer be intrigued.

22. "Nice party you've got here, shame if something happened to it ..."
I think she wants to be given some high-paying, perk-loaded position in the GOP hierarchy, so that they can feel she's inside the tent pissing out. Something that enables her to take permanent family vacations on the GOP tab, while giving 'speeches' to gullible tea partiers who pay $100,000 a go. She wants to be the GOP king-maker - "power without responsibility".
