I turned Rachel off last night
as soon as Michael Steele came on.

I will turn her off again the next time she has him on.

And if I have to turn her off because of him again, I will never turn her back on. I am so sick of her giving that man a soapbox.

2. Of all the possible RETHUGS, Steele is less objectionable IMO..
Would you prefer "Uncle" Pat Buchanan?

5. Its not so bad that she has him on but when he lies she must not be allowed to correct him?
He told a whopper last night. Can't remember exactly what it was but it was one of the big lies the GOP has been promoting and she didn't correct him.

This doesn't bode well.

3. It's part of the game
Steele is part of the MSNBC 'stable of talent'. She has to have him on.

It stinks, but she does. Thems the rules made by them that rules.

He plays the same role as Alan Colmes did on Fox.

11. I actually don't mind him now that he's the official MSNBC GOP Lightweight.
The Republicans have all but disowned him.

Think of The Daily Show's puppet version when you see him, because basically, that's what he has become.

23. Yes he is.
He is one of the most courteous Republicans in that he doesn't talk over his opponent.
He seems to actually be listening to what they have to say.

I think he would be a lot of fun to spend some time with.
I can imagine spending 3 or 4 hours with Steele and Eugene Robinson at the same time, I bet it would be a hoot.

Of course it's not everybody's cup of tea, but it's comic relief.

I think some of you folks don't understand "show business."

The format depends on the Michael Steele segments and I was done with them years ago.

19. One reason I like watching on line.
When Steele shows up, I can skip to the next segment. Used to do the same thing back when she had Buchanan on.

And I mute the Exxon commercials.

Though I don't know why they did hire him. I don't see Fox hiring any Democrats.

31. Rachel said Huntsman looked like the Debbil last night on her show. Hilarious.
She showed a picture of Huntsman and Romney standing next to each other at some time in the past and she said that Huntsman looked like the Debbil.
I died laughing.
That was the first time I have ever seen Rachel poke fun of a Mormon and I relished every second of it!!!

Everything that Rachel ever did wrong -- including wearing tenny runners with a suit -- is now forgiven.
Seriously, it was that gawd damned funny when she said that.
Steele didn't know what to say her when she said that about Huntsman.

32. I don't understand this kind of "I will only tolerate the sight of people I agree with" thinking.
I read the theories and opinions of many conservatives, moderates and liberals because I will not allow others to filter information and ideas for me.

I am a liberal because I am informed and because I choose progressivism consistently, from a lineup, every time - not because I refuse to listen to other points of view. That would be weak.
