Take the Ryan bill off the damn table !!
I am not a spokesman for the Democratic Party, even though they may need one.

But this is exactly what the Democrats need to tell the Republicans. Senator Schumer more or less told them that yesterday on Meet the Press, albeit, in much less partisan tone. I don't think he got their attention.

However, it needs to be said in a loud chorus. We will not surrender to extortion. We do not pass laws in that manner. After the next election, if the people agree with the Republicans that we need to dismantle Medicare as we now know it and they win a majority in the Senate, the House, and the White House, then they can try to pass the laws they want by following the rules. Extortion is not in our rules and the Republicans would be wise to understand that.

We know they made promises to their Tea Party followers that they would cut spending, of which they created majority of it, but we have had just about enough of their hot air and threats. We are not going to cut benefits for the elderly and give tax breaks for the wealthy. Get it? Do you fucking get it?!
