Succinct. Eloquent. An accurate description of today's politics.
This from blogger 'flutie' on JSOnline blog this morning.

"In case anyone is having a hard time understanding our current political situation, this is how it works: the big players get bigger and more successful on the backs of the little guys. Republicans are OK with that; Democrats aren't. "

Thank you flutie.

1. I think it's giving Democrats too much credit.

Clearly many DEMs are ok w. this.

Ergo... it might be succinct, but it's not even close to accurate.

4. Agreed, on a national level. The article regards State politics in Wisconsin....
...perhaps I should have pointed that out.

8. The party's *always* been alive and awake up there.
At least since the sixties ( Proxmire, Nelson, the E. McCarthy clobbering of LBJ in the 68 primary, etc.).

The state.... not so much. Just when you think they've got it figured out they toss out the cure ( Feingold) in favor of the disease.

5. Exactly.
..... more accurate would be "a handful of dems are not ok with this".
