I feel very fortunate that everyone in my family who served in the armed forces
Survived.
My Grandfather joined the Marines on December 8th 1941 - was in every major land battle in the pacific theater.
My father - medical discharge from the Air Force after discovering he had diabetes. He was never sent to Vietnam.
My uncle - US Army served 2 tours in Vietnam - it messed him up emotional and has struggled with drugs and alcohol ever since.
My little brother - US Marines - was in boot camp when Gulf War 1 started, it was all over before he was done with training. Finished his enlistment before GW2 started.

My thoughts and prayers are with those families who were not as lucky as mine.

I hope there are no more wars to survive.

1. Hmmm, the interesting thing is.
There is no change in the state of war started years ago, and not by me nor many others in society, and the state of things today.

I am still due beer and travel money, and many experiences.

Although I do agree with honoring the people of much love of heart, especially those that have had many troubles, and the songs of many people represent those struggles of soldiers through all of society every day.

Although, I don't see why people talk about past wars or past conflicts, or even about fighting in a conflict, except where fighting is not fighting.

When I am still due beer and travel money, and many experiences.

4. Not a quest, a journey :)

Although for quest humor, just have to remember where the character is that has the quest completion part, and then Ding, another level.

:loveya: :)
