Republicans begin their reign of error with a new lie...
Edited on Wed Jan-05-11 11:42 AM by kentuck
They are going to be the party of the people.

That is paraphrasing what John Boehner said. The House belongs to the people, he said.

The Repubs are going to be the Party of the People? And I have a bridge to sell you. It's amazing how many people actually believe that. Corporate interest vs the interest of the people? Which do you think the Repubs will choose? Every damn time.

1. Yes. Times were good when we had democrats to save us
from being herded into the offices of insurance salesman (do they still work on commission?) or taking our money to give to bankers who blew it all on bad business models.

The GOP will probably re-open Gitmo too.

6. Excellent!
Thanks for the reminder. When Boehner said the House belonged to the "people", he was talking about corporations.

9. It's not an error.
By "the People", Boehner means white, upper-class and male.
