Poll: Wisconsin wants to recall Walker -- and put Democrats in their Senate.
The question is, Will the anti-Walker sentiment keep up until next year? Things can
change in a year, and there are some fickle people around.

2. For now the emphasis is on the RECALLS. We need 3 Repugs to
be recalled and keep the 3 Dems who are up for recall to have a bit of control in the Assembly. That will keep Walker and his Repug poodles in check!! One day at a time!

8. Well, we'll know on July12, a month and a half from now -- we'll know at least a part of it.

3. It will grow.
Watch what happens in the recall elections this summer.

We learned a lot in the Supreme Court election. The most important thing we learned is that in those Senate districts where there hade been heavy door-to-door signature gathering for the recalls, Kloppenburg won by big point spreads. Only in areas where there was little or no personal contact between activists & ordinary citizens did Prosser do really well. In those areas, many voters had no idea of the connection between Prosser & Walker, & they allowed themselves to be influenced by the high-spending Citizens United-type ads.

The lesson: Personal contact with voters can carry the day over big-money ad saturation.

9. And let's not forget those ripped open bags in which the ballots were kept. How do
we know who is tampering with those bags when the working hours are over?
Where are they kept, and who is keeping them?

If you get the impression little is happening in WI, it is because the "news" outlets have decided that we are not news.

"If you get the impression little is happening in WI, it is because the "news" outlets have decided that we are not news."
This is another important big advantage that the Neocons have over us. They can pretty much twist the information around
any way they like. Only those who care enough to dig for more accurate news will get it. And many don't seem to care
enough. I sure hope you will take over your senate on July 12, and kick out Walker in 2012, and many more half-wits
will be voted out of office in Nov. 2012.

We'll have to keep on working hard between now and then. Good luck -- to all of us. We'll need it.

4. A Recall Would Send A Powerful Message
to future to candidates who think they can run without disclosing their real agenda.
To the local newspapers, let this be a lesson, to do a little more prodding before endorsing these monsters.

5. If Walker continues to carry out his agenda, he will be on the short stick of a recall.

6. Interesting tidbit:
Maybe Feingold is sitting out the Senate recall and thinking about a run for the Governor's office if that recall becomes possible:

------------------
Walker would lose to Feingold or Barrett in recall
Raleigh, N.C. – Wisconsinites are closely divided on whether they would support
recalling Gov. Scott Walker. Half support putting Walker before the voters before 2014,
and 47% oppose it, up slightly from a 48-48 deadlock when PPP last polled the state near
the beginning of the union controversy in February. But while the proposition of a recall
sharply divides voters, there is no question that if he were to be recalled, voters would be
squarely behind his Democratic challenger, whether it is Russ Feingold (52-42) or
Walker’s 2010 opponent Tom Barrett (50-43). That mirrors the 52-45 spread when PPP
asked voters three months ago who they would vote for if they could do last fall’s
gubernatorial election over again.

12. I am surprised that 47% still support Walker. Don't they see what
he is doing to the people of Wisconsin? What more does it take to make them see
how he is screwing up the whole state?

13. A certain percentage of the people get nothing but the corporate story.
We found that individual contacts with voters made all the difference. Districts in which heavy recall petition activity had occurred also went for Kloppenburg in a pretty big way. Unbelievably, a lot of people have little clue about what's actually happening until a wild-eyed teacher shows up on their doorstep with a clipboard and starts explaining it to them.
