And, no, I don't see the majority of DUers offering forgiveness to DSK... while they may try to retain some sense of "innocent until proven guilty" as more and more evidence as come out, I think he is rightfully being excoriated. The court of public opinion is, after all, very separate from the judicial system.

Yes, Ed made a proper apology and I wish he were back on the air tomorrow. But, his gender-based slur was wrong and he acknowledged it as such. I'm sure he won't use it again. But, damn, there is nothing to equate between Ed and DSK!

I'm glad Ed apologized.
