More raids on marijuana dispensaries in Spokane
Source: The Seattle Times

Assistant U.S. Attorney Tom Rice says that the raid on Medical Herbs Providers on Wednesday is one of several operations that are "on going."

The DEA has geared things up to be a War on MMJ States and Patients... All after Obama has stated he would not let this happen..
Is this a indicator that Obama lied or is it that He has no control over the DEA and what they do????

1. "Obama lied or is it that He has no control"
Either way, we don't get what we voted for.

This is about corporate domination over the peoples' representative government and in turn over the people, the so called "War on Drugs" is just one of the primary strategies used by the corporate supremacists to obtain that end.

We have the world record breaking # of prisoners and a 21st century version of slavery in a private for profit prison system; that will never have enough prisoners, and if they need to make room for non-violent cannabis users, violent prisoners are and will be let loose.

So when these violent prisoners are let back on the street only to commit more violent crime, ie: murder, rape, robbery etc. etc. the corporate media starts carrying Republican Water about how we need to "get tough on crime," meanwhile the growing influence, power and wealth of the for profit prison industry allows them to bribe/lobby the corrupted politicians to do just that.

Organized crime is laughing all the way to their illegitimate and legitimate banks, the people turn to more dangerous and addictive creations by unscrupulous chemists to alter their consciousness.

All of that above leads to more broken families, an increase in the poverty rate as primary bread winners are thrown in prison because of draconian laws turning what should be an educational, medical and/or personal privacy issue in to a criminal one.

Meanwhile precious treasure, energy and blood are wasted by the police; as they carry out the Big Brother will of corrupted, cowardly and incompetent politicians.

Mexico is being destabilized to the verge of civil war as we import drugs and export guns to them

And to top it off, the Fourth, Eighth, Ninth and Tenth Amendments; of the Constitution protecting all the people are continually eroded or outright raped.

12. No, but I'll withhold my next voted based on his lies regarding the same.
Don't even try to defend him on this. He lied, and abominably.

6. Its not really about the law
Here is exactly what is going on...
NO due process of law at all.. This is a right we all are supposed to have..
Not in these cases.. Rights and the law are out the window...
LEOs are getting creative and re interpreting the law to gain an advantage...

Here is another one in California this week:

Whittier police tactics in medical marijuana raids questioned

Instead of providing a notice of violation and threatening to sue if they didn't close, a dozen members of Whittier police and L.A. Impact Task Force officers came down on the two dispensaries, leaving shattered glass and bitter feelings.

7. I would like to strongly suggest that Holder knock it off, and let them LIVE in peace.
If they start happening in Colorado, there will be repercussions.

This is one of MANY reasons Obama has lost my vote. I will continue to support my local Democrats, but Obama has lost me a long time ago with this very lie.

8. "Is this a indicator that Obama lied"??
Edited on Mon May-23-11 01:43 PM by Upton
Do you really need to ask that question? I think the answer is pretty obvious..

"I don't think that should be a top priority of us, raiding people who are using ... medical marijuana. With all the things we've got to worry about, and our Justice Department should be doing, that probably shouldn't be a high priority." Obama June 2007

"The Justice Department going after sick individuals using this as a palliative instead of going after serious criminals makes no sense." Obama July 2007

"I would not have the Justice Department prosecuting and raiding medical marijuana users. It's not a good use of our resources." Obama Aug. 2007

10. Why don't they raid something useful
like all the skinhead/Nazi outposts up there. Now that would accomplish something.
